SECTION AND DUTTON WATER SYSTEMS WATER CONSERVATION REQUEST
Due to the extremely cold temperatures the Section and Dutton Water Systems are currently experiencing extremely high water use. We realize some customers will have leaks and ask those customers to report those leaks to us to insure the leaking pipes are turned off. We also ask that anyone who notices extra water flow in an area where we have water mains to please notify us so that we can check and repair main leaks as well. Currently customers should have sufficient water pressure though it may be lower than normal. Fire hydrant flows may also be reduced during this time. We have increased our water production to the maximum and this should begin to bring our water tank levels back toward normal over the next several days. This, in conjunction with warmer weather and leak reductions, should work in everyone's favor.
We appreciate our customers and their help.
For the Section and Dutton Water Systems,
